Why this blog?

In the Gospel of Mark Jesus said: “Have faith in God” (Mark 11:22)

Jesus came to teach us about the kingdom of heaven, and He gave His life for us as a ransom (Matthew 20:28). He paid the price we owed for our sins so that we could be forgiven (Romans 4:7). When Jesus was resurrected He became the rightful King and is seated at the right hand of His Father waiting to return to earth and usher in His kingdom in the new creation of the heavens and the earth. In the Gospels, Jesus taught about having faith in God. In the letters of Paul, he revealed that justification (meaning “just as if I never sinned”) is obtained through faith in Jesus Christ. We need to learn what faith is and how to have faith in God.

“Have faith in God”

So why this blog? There are many Christian websites that explain the gospel clearly such as Got Questions, All About God or Compelling Truth. My hope is that this blog will give you an interest in learning more about having faith in God. If you are seeking truth and want to know more about what the bible teaches I hope these blogs will help. If you already believe I hope this helps you come to trust God more deeply.

New Believer?

If you are a new believer there is a new section with about 13 posts which presents in a simple way what putting your trust in God is all about. Hope it helps!

Where to start

The existing blogs go right through some of the letters Paul wrote. The blogs appear in date order, so if you want to go through a whole epistle you need to start at the back and work forward. I am working on Ephesians (but the work on this has paused) and the previous series Romans, starts here. You can use the arrows at the bottom of the blog to move on through the posts in order, or there is an index to Romans (others are being developed!). Links to the beginning of other epistles are here: 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians,  Galatians, and 1 & 2 Thessalonians.

Anyway, I hope you find something here that blesses you. If you want to get in touch please use the Contact Me page.

God bless you and give you peace.
